thyssenkrupp is able to offer the whole process chain from mining through beneficiation via sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid production to phosphate fertilizers such as DAP (diammonium phosphate), MAP (mono-ammonium phosphate), NPK (compound/multi-nutrient fertilizers) and others.

Mining and beneficiation, grinding
thyssenkrupp is a leading supplier of excavators, semi-mobile and fully mobile crushers, calcination, grinding units and other mining and beneficiation systems.
Sulfuric acid
thyssenkrupp offers its own proprietary wet sulfuric acid process. Heat recovery up to 95%, anodic protected acid coolers and patented emission-free sulfur melting technology are differentiators to other technologies.
MAP, DAP, NPK
thyssenkrupp uses various licensed technologies for the production of granulated or crystallized MAP, DAP and NPK.
Materials handling
thyssenkrupp can provide portal reclaimers, conveyors and port handling equipment produced in-house.
Integrated process chain
With control over the whole process chain, thyssenkrupp is able to optimize complete projects rather than individual units and provide customers with production facilities tailored to the particular raw material from their phosphate source.
