Background: As COO of thyssenkrupp’s Decarbon Technologies segment and CEO of thyssenkrupp Uhde, Nadja is committed to further strengthening the segment’s role as a driver of green transformation and to developing innovative processes and technologies that enable customers to reduce CO₂ emissions and achieve long-term sustainability.

Before joining thyssenkrupp Uhde, she held various management positions at Siemens and Siemens Energy. Among others, she served as Senior Vice President Region Africa for Siemens Energy, and was responsible for the company’s overall portfolio development in the African market.

She holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Institute of Technology at Linköping University, Sweden and a Global Executive MBA from the IESE Business School of Navarro.

COO of thyssenkrupp Uhde since October 2025

Born in 1976 // British

Over 25 years of international experience in project delivery and business operations, with leadership roles in engineering and construction companies, technology providers and owner organizations. He has successfully delivered projects and led business units across the full value chain – from concept development to plant delivery.

Background: Before joining thyssenkrupp Uhde, he was Vice President at Worley, responsible for the Large Project Execution Hub led out of the UK.

He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) in the UK.
